Went back to collect award at VS speech day today..
Quite disappointed.. i must admit.. Here's the story...

Last year.. everybody in the committee got some service award from the school, everybody, except me.. so i went to ask the teacher in charge, "how come?"
"Oh, you're getting a more prestigeous one next year, when they'll invite you back for speech day.." was the reply..
"Oh, alright.." i said.

Today, i realised that most from the committee who got the award last year also got today's award.. hmm. Odd. 'Cheat my feelings..' Bleh! Somemore so boring. Vs likes to make everything formal and solemn. VJ is totally different. Farewell assembly today for instance.

Though it goes without saying that it is an emmotional assembly. VJ has this thing about injecting fun into everything we do. The MCs were great!! If that wasn't scripted.. wah! They're awesome man!! Batman and White Ranger.. watde... rotfl!! VJ I-comp totally rox!! compared to the video we watched at VS.. haiz.. VS gotta step up her game man!! House comp skit super hilarious. Make VJ seem like wat the only JC that matters! Haha! Though my friend was complaing the teachers stress them alot last minute but i think they did a wonderful job! *applause* Mass dance!! oh man!! the hype, the victorian spirit running through our veins.. k fine, my class ran away.. watde.. NVM, i danced with the VS ppl den later joined my senior class.

Oh Yah!! AQUILA WON THE HOUSE CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha.. but i'm really sad to see the seniors go.. some of them my really good friends. Hope they come back to visit often. Hope i have time to go out with them too. All the assemblies together, cookies, ice cream, ITALY!! oh man! i miss that experience, working hard together, and den celebrating when they announced that we've clinched the Grand Prize!! That moment of pure joy and happiness is one that i'll remember for the rest of my life. Evertime i run that memory through my mind again i still feel that tingle of excitement running down my spine.
Now's it's our turn to keep the flag unfurled, will we be able to live up to the 'dragon power'.. hmm.. MRS CHAN!! why u gotta leave eh?

She's the best principal i've ever known. Once, i wanted to apply for a science seminar, and for some admin fault, i did not get a place, and Mrs Chan helped me get in after i appealed.. She genuinely cares for us victorians, she's there for sports events, and she takes interest in our cultural groups too. She knows how to have fun WITH US, april fool's day, we changed the school crest, and she laughed along with us. Victories won for the school are recognised duly with granting of half day offs if not full day offs. She's there to fight for us, to the extent of going against the press, when members of the public accuse us of trivial things, and try to tarnish our school's image. She's cheerful and hardly loses her temper. If i remember correctly, only once, cos some fools were making a scene at KFC in their school uniform.

We're gonna miss you Mrs Chan!! All the best in your new term. Dun you ever forget VJC!!!
